Suicide is caused by disconnection and isolation. If you are worried about someone attempting suicide, let them know you are concerned, ask them directly if they are thinking about death. Help them find resources in the community. Suicide is a preventable death and most do not want to die, they want the pain to end. Lets start talking about the elephant in the room – suicide.
